Introduction to Algorithms
Problem solving is at the core of software engineering. Algorithms are sets of rules and step-by-step procedures to solve these complex problems. In your interview, you'll often be expected to devise and articulate algorithms to software engineering problems, which form some of the fundamentals of operations in software engineering.
In This Module
In this section of the course, we're going to review the most important algorithms including algorithms to search, sort, and the infamous dynamic programming algorithm questions. Whether you're a seasoned engineer or just practicing for your first interviews, this section of the course will be a helpful review!
The second part of this module is a series of real interview questions that teach you to apply the algorithms that we've discussed. Each of these lessons comes in an interactive format that is designed to guide you and challenge you, just like a real interviewer would do. At the end of each lesson, you'll be able to see the full solution to the problem, which includes a full explanation with working code examples.
