Who this course is for

This course is designed for professionals who need to speak the language of Generative AI in interviews confidently, clearly, and credibly.

  • Candidates interviewing at AI-first companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Perplexity, where understanding how AI products work is now table stakes.
  • Professionals transitioning into AI-augmented roles (e.g., PM → AI PM, engineer → AI engineer) who need to show they can think and build in an AI-powered world.
  • Candidates interviewing at any tech company who need to demonstrate fluency with Generative AI, not with hype or buzzwords, but with real understanding of how the technology works and where it breaks.

What you’ll learn

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Sound like a pro, not a hobbyist. You’ll demonstrate substance over slogans, steering clear of the shallow AI soundbites that circulate in casual conversations.

    • Foundation models, such as Large Language Models (LLMs)
    • Core capabilities of Generative AI
    • Limitations and failure modes (including hallucinations)
  • Responsible AI and preventing AI misuse.
  • Understand real-world adoption. Know how today’s leading tech companies are using Generative AI in products and workflows.
  • Evaluate feasibility. Be the person who separates hype from reality. Understand the tradeoffs and practical considerations when choosing or deploying GenAI models including efficiency, performance, cost, and latency.
  • Bridge human + AI collaboration. Show you can catch hallucinations, apply human judgment, and design workflows where AI enhances (and not replaces) human expertise.
