"Amazon Senior TPM interviews involve a recruiter screen, technical phone screen, and a 4 round virtual loop. Assessments focus on system design, program management, and strict adherence to Amazon’s 16 Leadership Principles. A Bar Raiser ensures hiring standards, evaluating candidates on technical depth, cross-functional delivery, and behavioural STAR responses"

"The OA was more challenging than I expected, the questions were more aligned with Competitive programming style. Recruiter was really supportive and informative. Still waiting on the next steps, which is the final round."

"It was a very disciplined and clear process. Preparing for the behavioral questions took a long time. One of the interviewers decided to change the standard questions and the ones she created on the spot were very unclear. That made it difficult."

"The interviews focused mainly on my experience, technical background, and how I approached real problems rather than overly theoretical questions."

"A recruiter reached out to me cold by email, and the process itself matched what they told me almost exactly. I had a quick recruiter screen, then a long phone screen that was really two interviews back to back: a Playground design prompt and a coding problem around credits. After that I did a virtual onsite that was only three rounds, about four hours total, with a refactoring exercise, a past-project presentation with slides, and a leadership conversation. I ended up getting rejected, and the clearest signal I got afterward was that scale mattered a lot, especially in the project presentation round. One weird process detail is that a different recruiter reached back out to me again a few months later, so my impression was their internal tracking and cooldown handling were not especially tight at that point."

"Interview was difficult, especially on the Beast team. It included IQ test, System design, coding a binary problem on blockchain, and behavioral, and going over a technical project i worked on. Each interview had to go really well or I wasn't gonna get the offer."
