Software Engineer Interview Experience
Interview process
The screening process was pretty straightforward. It started with a few basic questions about my prior experience, relevant background, and the technical projects I had worked on. From there, the conversation focused on the projects I had mentioned, with questions about my specific contributions, the technologies I used, the challenges I encountered, and how I approached solving technical problems. Overall, the screening was fairly conversational and served mainly to assess my technical foundation, hands-on experience, and ability to clearly explain the work I had done.

Interview tips
I’d recommend being prepared to talk in detail about your previous experience and technical projects. Make sure you can clearly explain your specific contributions, the technologies you used, the challenges you faced, and how you approached solving problems. It would also be helpful to review the fundamentals relevant to the role and be ready for follow-up questions on anything listed on your resume. Overall, focus on being able to communicate your experience clearly and confidently rather than just memorizing answers.
Company culture
What stood out to me was how collaborative and approachable the team seemed. The conversations felt open and focused on learning, problem-solving, and working together rather than simply evaluating technical skills. I also appreciated the emphasis on clear communication and giving people the opportunity to take ownership of their work.
