Technical Program Manager Interview Experience
Interview process
This was one of the hardest loops I had completed. The hiring manager screen and behavioral interviews were standard. The system design interview for a TPM was challenging. The expectations for a TPM included a great deal of technical depth.
- Recruiter screen
- Phone interview
- Technical interview
- Take-home project
- Final round
Interview tips
One of my interviews was supposed to be a case study or more on program management fundamentals; however, it was a set of random questions from the interviewer (e.g., "What do you think the future of GPUS is?" "Define a project?"). I wish it were clear what type or style of interview I was walking into.
Company culture
It had an intense vibe from the interview perspective. From the people's perspective, they enjoyed the work, the mission, and the challenge of working there. I got the sense they all enjoyed this fast-paced culture and growth that comes with working there.
