Interview process
Good. Communication needs to be good and technically sound you need to be.Overall, the interview process was well structured and gave me a good opportunity to understand both the role and the team. I particularly enjoyed the technical discussions, as they were practical and allowed me to explain my thought process rather than just arrive at a final answer. The interviewers were engaging, and the conversations gave me a clearer picture of the kind of problems the team works on. What went well was the quality of the discussions and the opportunity to interact with people from different parts of the team. I also appreciated that the interviews covered both technical depth and broader problem-solving. The main area that could have been better was the scheduling and communication around the different stages. At times, there was some uncertainty around timelines and next steps. More visibility into the overall process and expected timelines would have made the experience smoother. Overall, though, I found the process positive and enjoyed meeting the team.

Interview tips
I’d tell a friend to focus on explaining their thought process clearly rather than just arriving at the correct answer. The interviews are quite discussion-driven, so it helps to be comfortable talking through trade-offs, assumptions, edge cases, and alternative approaches. For the technical rounds, I’d recommend revising core data structures and algorithms, Python fundamentals, and practising writing clean code under time pressure. Be prepared for follow-up questions that build on the original problem or explore how your solution would scale. I’d also prepare to discuss past projects in some depth, particularly the technical decisions you made, the trade-offs involved, and examples of solving ambiguous or challenging problems. Finally, it’s worth understanding the company and role well, as some of the conversations are broader and more exploratory.
