Program Manager Interview Experience
Interview process
Overall, I had a positive interview experience. The conversation felt engaging and gave me a better understanding of the role, the team, and the types of challenges they are working to solve. I especially appreciated the opportunity to discuss my experience and think through questions that reflected the work of the position. One area I could have improved personally was being more concise in a few of my responses. There were moments where I could have communicated my thought process more directly. Overall, though, I enjoyed the conversation and appreciated the interviewer's time, transparency, and insights into the team and TikTok.

Interview tips
I would recommend becoming familiar with the role and being prepared to connect your past experiences directly to its responsibilities. I would also practice giving clear, structured examples of how you have approached problems, worked cross-functionally, and managed competing priorities. Most importantly, be prepared to explain your thought process, not just the outcome, and come ready with thoughtful questions about the team and the work.
Company culture
What stood out to me most was the fast-paced and collaborative nature of the team. I appreciated how the conversation emphasized ownership, adaptability, and working across different functions to solve problems. The team also seemed genuinely focused on making an impact while continuing to learn and improve, which made the culture feel both challenging and exciting.
