“Recruiter contacted, set up 1st round phone screen with a senior engineer. 45 mins with 20 mins on past projects etc diving in detial before talking about AI/LLM concepts. Was easy 2nd round was 2 stanmdard leetcode coding qns 45 mins with 1st 15 mins on behvaioural so only 30 mins to solve both qns but was quite doable. Walked though the brute force naive approach before moving on to the optimal solution and O(nlogn) etc tiome complexity.”

What went well was the technical discussion , it felt like a genuine conversation rather than a checklist, and the questions were relevant to the role. What could have been smoother was the scheduling between rounds, which took a bit longer than expected, and I would have appreciated slightly more feedback along the way.”

The technical round was more open-ended than I expected, so I could have done a better job clarifying requirements and structuring my solution before diving into details.”
“The process was pretty rigorous, mainly because the bar at E6 felt more about scope and judgement than just solving the questions. Recruiter was clear and helpful. The coding rounds went ok, but I spent too long explaining some edge cases. Design was probably the strongest part, good back-and-forth and tradeoffs. Behavioral was fine, though I could’ve been more specific with impact numbers. Overall, a solid process but definitely tiring.”

“The weirdest Anthropic round was the company values interview. It was almost like a therapy session, and honestly if you went to a therapist at some point, you will pass that round much more easily.”
“What was very unusual is they didn’t give me any tooling to draw the system design, so I just sketched it on a piece of paper and talked them through it, then we got into this oddly deep debate about whether hover-over history should count as a recommendation signal.”
