The overall interview went very well, super supportive. I would choose to understand more about team culture.

Overall, I felt that the interview went well. I was able to clearly explain my experiences, discuss the projects I have worked on, and connect them to why I was interested in the position. I was also comfortable answering technical and behavioral questions, and I think I communicated my thought process effectively rather than just giving short answers.

Though I hold good amount of working experience in building AI products from 0 to 1. However, I lack in explaining them in layman term.

I didn’t get much feedback on the panel interview round but I found it helpful that the hiring manager was also on the call. I had a prior interview with him and he seemed to like my background. I didn’t execute well enough on the presentation side in my opinion.

This focuses on core Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and fundamental software engineering principles.Step 3: Technical Deep-Dive / Team Panel: A more thorough session with Citi engineers focusing on System Design, Java/Python specifics (like multithreading or database ACID properties), and a deep-dive into your past project architecture.Step 4: Hiring Manager / Behavioral Round: A "culture fit" discussion using the STAR method to evaluate your teamwork and communication, often ending with HR discussions on salary and policy

The process was fairly simple. I applied online and the recruiter set up an introductory call within a week. While the questions were easy/medium difficulty - they were looking for a candidate with more relevant experience in the travel industry and did not move forward with my application after the second round.

It went really well with the recruiter and hiring manager. The best part is they scheduled a short meeting to give you feedback on your application and interview.
