Amazon
Senior Product Manager
Amazon·Posted 1 month ago · Mar 2024

The process was rigorous, I had 4 rounds, one with HM, one with the engineering manager and 2 with product managers. However, the format of all rounds followed the typical Amazon LP based format. In two of the interviews, I was also asked for mini case study like questions around how I would take decisions on launches and experimentation.

The process was fairly straightforward, although the company at the time was very focused on hiring people with the right values. They had a specific "credos" round, with a long-time employee who's focused on making sure you exhibit their top values/credos. The take-home case study was relatively straightforward for someone with an analytical/finance background.

This was one of the hardest loops I had completed. The hiring manager screen and behavioral interviews were standard. The system design interview for a TPM was challenging. The expectations for a TPM included a great deal of technical depth.
