The internal tooling and the data is incredible. When I was there last year, they had their own Meta AI wired into the most commonly used databases, so I could reference tables and column names and just prompt it to give me the query I needed.

After a live coding round, I had a "Data Analysis" interview: 5 case studies built around one product scenario — an in-app ads widget for partner offers. Cases covered probability (joint + conditional/Bayes), funnel and metrics design with limited tracking, dashboard design, and A/B testing including quasi-experiment alternatives. It felt more like a structured conversation than an exam: we ran over time on some cases and the interviewer was fine with it, asked guiding questions when I got stuck, and cared more about reasoning than polished delivery. What didn't go well: explaining specific concepts precisely under time pressure was harder than expected, especially as a non-native speaker — but the interviewer worked with that rather than against it.

The interview process was well-structured and included both technical and client interviews. The technical discussions focused on my experience with Power BI, data modeling, SQL, and real project scenarios. Overall, the interviewers were professional and gave me enough time to explain my approach. The only downside was that the feedback process took longer than expected, and communication between interview stages could have been more consistent.

The overall interview went very well, super supportive. I would choose to understand more about team culture.

The process was smooth and moved very quickly - definitely the most nerve-wracking interview since it included a 10 minute presentation to share with engineers, five 1:1 interviews, and traveling onsite. They seemed to care a lot about technical aptitude over anything else, so make sure your coding skills are solid.

The process started with a resume screen followed by a recruiter call. There is a hiring assessment that they send you as a first step (behavioral questions). This was followed by the first technical round consisting of sql questions. Subsequent rounds included questions on Googleyness and role related questions followed by a final round with the director.
