Ashley Kirk, the first Data Journalist at The Telegraph, gives a detailed account of what working as a data journalist entails. Data journalism is a relatively new space that is emerging as a "hot" career these days.

Prior to The Telegraph, Ashley has written for several publications, including the Guardian, the Independent and City A.M. Ashley has a Bachelor in English degree from University of Birmingham and a Master in Interactive Journalism degree from City University London.
