Business Analyst Interview Experience
Interview process
The interview lasted about four hours and was divided into several sections. One section focused on behavioral questions, where I was asked about my past experiences, how I handle different situations, and examples of teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving. Another section assessed my math skills through quantitative and analytical questions. The final section was technical and conceptual, testing my understanding of fundamental technical concepts, my reasoning process, and how I approached solving technical problems rather than simply recalling facts.

Interview tips
One of the biggest takeaways from the interview was the importance of thinking out loud while working through math problems. Rather than focusing only on getting the correct answer, I realized the interviewers wanted to understand my thought process and how I approached each problem. Practicing verbalizing my reasoning step by step will help me communicate my problem-solving skills more effectively in future interviews.
Company culture
One thing that stood out during the interview was the strong emphasis on team culture, community, and creating a sense of belonging. The interviewers highlighted the importance of collaboration, supporting one another, and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. It was clear that the company places significant importance on building strong relationships and maintaining a positive team culture alongside technical excellence.
