Interview process

The interview process was well-structured and focused on both coding and system/infrastructure knowledge. The interviewers were professional and gave me enough time to explain my thought process. I was ultimately rejected because my coding experience, particularly with data structures and algorithms, was not strong enough. In hindsight, I could have communicated my approach more clearly and solved the coding problems more efficiently. Compared to other interviews I've done, this one placed a stronger emphasis on coding fundamentals while also evaluating infrastructure concepts.

Interview tips

Make sure you have a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms, as coding rounds are a major part of the process. Practice solving problems under time constraints and be prepared to explain your reasoning clearly. It also helps to have a good understanding of infrastructure concepts, such as distributed systems, networking, and cloud fundamentals, depending on the role.

Company culture

The interviewers came across as professional, respectful, and technically knowledgeable. The interview process felt organized, and there was a clear focus on evaluating problem-solving skills rather than expecting memorized answers. Overall, the culture appeared to value technical excellence and thoughtful collaboration.
