Interview process
The process was more rigorous than anything I’d done at other big tech companies, but the recruiter was accurate and helpful about what to prepare, which I really appreciated. A few things did catch me off guard: one round was more execution- and tradeoff-heavy than I expected, and the bar for structured, concise answers felt very high throughout. Overall, it was challenging but fair, and I came away with a positive impression of the process.

Interview tips
I’d tell a friend to prepare for very crisp product thinking, strong metric/experiment reasoning, and clear examples from their past work. Be ready to explain tradeoffs, define success metrics, and defend prioritization decisions. I’d also recommend practicing concise answers with a strong structure, because the interviewers seemed to value clarity and logic as much as the idea itself.
Company culture
What stood out most was that the interviewers felt sharp, direct, and thoughtful rather than scripted. The recruiter was especially helpful and transparent, which made the process feel more organized than I expected. I didn’t notice any major red flags; if anything, the main impression was that Meta sets a high bar and expects strong preparation.
