The process is very unpredictable because I had one question where I was tested for strategic insight where I was asked very generic question about vision for agentic applications in infra. And then then I had a question on hardware strategy, including Android. And then I had a very vague question on success metrics. Um, I think Google processes very... um, while they test for a specific set of metrics, it is very unpredictable.

The process was much quicker and smoother than at other companies. Recruiters shared some pointers on what to prepare, and mostly it was around that only. What did not go well was that one interview was online, and others were on-site.

The interview was a standard FAANG type of interview, where the recruiter screen talked about resume and behavioral questions, and the first coding round was a non-AI traditional leetcode question.

Friendly interviewers, coding round didn't have enough time for 3rd round but finished explanation. make sure you focus on explaining clearly and moving fast through first and second round to complete third round of coding screen.
