I did three rounds: recruiter, a conversation with a senior product person, and then a 45-minute product case. My biggest takeaway was that the process felt stitched together, like a fast-growing startup still iterating on hiring, because the rounds did not feel very coordinated and the scope of the role kept shifting. The job description undersold how much growth they actually wanted. To me, they were really looking for someone who could do zero-to-one product, growth, user understanding, and a lot of operational heavy lifting all in one role. I got rejected after the case before the planned final round, which was supposed to be a take-home assignment plus culture fit.
